Welcome to Sierra Vista Labradoodles & Goldendoodles! We are the original doodle breeders in California, (we began in 2003). We will be celebrating our 22nd Anniversary of breeding doodles in early 2025!
We are located in Orangevale (Northern California) just outside of Sacramento. We are so proud of our many pups that have gone on to become service animals (diabetic and seisure-alert dogs, therapy dogs and emotional support animals). We've been breeding Doodles for over 2 decades!
I grew up with Labrador Retrievers but my wife Terry has allergies. So in 2002 the search was on for a low-no shedding, allergy-friendly dog. Upon discovering Labradoodles, we were drawn to their gentle nature, their adorable faces and of course, our family's ability to be around them without sneezing! We realized that there were a lot of other families like ours looking for great family dogs so in 2003, we imported our first 3 breeding Labradoodles directly from the Tegan Park Labradoodle Breeding Center in Australia. At that time, we were the only Labradoodle breeders in California and one of just 30 in the US. We are not a kennel. None of our breeding dogs live the life of a kennel-dog. They all live with their own families and live the life of a cherished family pet in our approved Guardian homes. We chose prospective breeding pups for their health, wonderful temperaments, and great coats. Although we began our breeding program in Davis, California we have moved to Orangevale California (just outside of Sacramento). We are a short drive from Sacramento, San Jose, Oakland, San Francisco and most places in Northern California. We also work with many families in Southern California, Nevada and the Pacific Northwest. We look forward to sharing with you our love of the Labradoodle and the Goldendoodle. What Makes Doodles So Special?
We regularly see doodles in commercials, owned by celebrities (Jennifer Aniston, Henry Winkler, Christy Brinkley, among others) and out and about in our communities. Of course, this is not a surprise to us, because Doodles are by far among the smartest, sweetest and most adorable dogs around. Since 2003, we have expanded our breeding program to include Goldendoodles and Double Doodles as well. |
